Andrew started his introduction to glass in 1997 while living in Boulder, CO. Early on he developed self-taught techniques before moving into a studio with experienced glass artist and owner Avery Gross. Andrew spent three years in Colorado working on his glass skills before relocating in 2000 to his home state of Minnesota.

As a child, Andrew’s first exposure to working hot glass gave him an early fascination of the craft. He considers himself lucky to be able to achieve his dreams and desires to be a professional artist.

Andrew has been in Southern Minnesota since 2000. He took a few years off from glass work to pursue other life ventures, then in 2004 he started pursuing a career in the glass craft again. Andrew sells his work online and in various art show venues around the Midwest. In 2008 Andrew began participation in the Minnesota Renaissance Fair, demonstrating torchwork and selling his work from his festival store shop.
